Lenox Boys, Girls Go 2-0 at BCC

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Ben Harwood placed first in a four-team meet at Berkshire Community College on Wednesday to lead the Lenox boys cross country team to a pair of wins over Taconic and Pittsfield.

Taconic and Pittsfield each picked up a win of its own against Monument Mountain.

Cohen Zahn led the PHS boys with a second-place finish, hitting the line just two seconds behind Harwood. Taconic was led by Collin Norton in fourth place.

Monument Mountain’s Autumn Higa led the Spartans, finishing third.

In the girls race, Lenox and Monument Mountain each went 2-0 by convincing margins.

The Spartans’ Amelia Desilets won the girls race by a little more than a minute over Lenox’s Gianna Love. And the teams split the top five positions before Pittsfield’s Sophia Lamalfa placed sixth.
