Dupont Pitches Monument Mountain to Win over Lee

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- Shaun Dupont allowed three hits and one earned run in six innings on the mound to lead the Monument Mountain baseball team to a 9-2 win over Lee on Saturday.
 
Dupont struck out three and walked one before Dillon Tinker came on to strike out the side in the seventh.
 
Max Joyner went 2-for-3 with a double and and an RBI, and Kyle Gochey and Jackson Blanchard each doubled to lead the Spartans’ offense.
 
Hunter Roosa doubled and threw 4-⅓ innings in a losing effort for Lee (3-6), which goes to Gateway on Monday.
 
Monument Mountain (7-1) is at Palmer on Monday.
