Monument Tops Drury, Stays in Hunt for Post-Season

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. --Zach Tinker went 2-for-3 with a double and a pair of RBIs to help the Monument Mountain baseball team keep its Western Mass hopes alive with an 8-6 win over Drury on Friday.
 
Josh Zinbert went 1-for-2 at the plate and pitched five innings in relief on the mound to pick up the win.
 
The Spartans (9-10) face Lee on Saturday in the Berkshire Classic.
 
For Drury (8-11), Logan Rumbolt went 2-for-3 with a double, a triple and two runs scored. Matthew Stewart went 2-for-3 with three RBIs.
 
Drury wraps up its season on Saturday in the Berkshire Classic against St. Joseph.
