Smith Pitches Hornets to Road Win

MONTAGUE, Mass. – Brodie Smith struck out 14 hitters Thursday to lead the McCann Tech baseball team to a 3-2 win over Turners Falls.

 

Smith walked none and scattered five hits in the complete-game win.

 

The Hornets took advantage of five Turners Falls errors to score three unearned runs.

 

Dylan Turner and Aidan Tremblay each had a hit for the Hornets.

 

McCann Tech (1-2) hosts Franklin Tech next Thursday.
