Mount Everett Baseball Rallies Past McCann Tech

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — The Mount Everett baseball team rallied with four runs in the top of the sixth to erase a 6-3 deficit en route to a 9-6 win over McCann Tech on Thursday at Joe Wolfe Field.
 
Andrew Consolini hit a two-run single in the decisive rally, which also included a Nikos Casivant double.
 
Patrick Silk went 2-for-4 and scored three times, and Kenny Zucco was 2-for-4 with three RBIs.
 
Casivant earned the win on the mound with two innings of scoreless relief of starter Alek Zdziarski. Anthony Lupiani finished the game with five strikeouts in the last two innings.
 
Owen Gagne doubled, and Jared Blondin drove in a run for the Hornets, who cashed in on four Mount Everett errors to score six unearned runs.
 
The Hornets (9-4) host Gateway on Friday.
 
The Eagles (4-4) go to Housatonic Valley on Friday.
