Kreis Homers Twice in Eagles' Win

FALLS VILLAGE, Conn. – Jacob Kreis went 3-for-5 with a pair of home runs and five RBIs Thursday to lead the Mount Everett baseball team to a 16-3 win over Housatonic Valley Regional.
 
Brady Carpenter went 4-for-5 with a double, and Sean Warren and Darius Taliaferro each doubled in a 15-hit attack for the Eagles.
 
Mount Everett took control of the game with a six-run third inning to take an 8-1 lead.
 
Matt Lowe earned the win on the mound, striking out seven and allowing just one unearned run in five innings of work.
 
Carpenter and Trevor Leonard finished up on the hill.
 
Mount Everett (9-6) finishes the regular season on Monday at Joe Wolfe Field in North Adams against McCann Tech.
