Lowe Leads Mount Everett Past Monson

SHEFFIELD, Mass. – Matt Lowe allowed one hit in a five-inning, complete-game effort on Sunday as the Mount Everett baseball team beat Monson, 10-0.
 
Lowe struck out six and walked none in the Eagles’ regular season finale.
 
He also helped his cause by hitting a triple and driving in a run at the plate.
 
Brady Carpenter went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs to lead Mount Everett’s offense.
 
Trevor Leonard went 2-for-3 and also drove in three runs.
 
The Eagles (11-7) wait to learn who they will face in the first round of this week’s Division 5 State Tournament.
