Drury Hands Mount Everett Its First Loss

SHEFFIELD, Mass. – Connor Hinkell went 2-for-3 with a home run Monday to lead the Drury baseball team to a 12-2 win over Mount Everett.
 
Brayden Durant and JJ Prenguber combined on the six-inning four-hitter as the Blue Devils handed the Eagles their first loss of the spring.
 
Durant struck out six in 3 and two-thirds innings to earn the win before Prenguber provided 2 and a third innings of scoreless relief.
 
Jake McAllister went 2-for-4 with a double and a pair of RBIs, and Noah Arnold was 2-for-3 in the win. Julian Feliciano doubled and drove in a pair of runs.
 
For Mount Everett, Brady Carpenter went 2-for-3.
 
The Eagles used five pitchers in the loss.
 
Mount Everett (14-1) hosts Housatonic Valley Regional on Wednesday.
 
Drury (11-4) hosts Pioneer Valley on Tuesday.
