Braman Leads Hoosac Nine to Win

CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Matt Braman went 3-for-4 at the plate and struck out eight on the mound to lead the Hoosac Valley baseball team to a 4-2 win over Mount Everett on Monday.
 
Brandon Tworig and Zach Albareda each had a pair of hits for the Hurricanes (5-3).
 
Matt Koperniak singled to drive in Braman and Justin Nichols in the fourth inning after the Eagles scored twice in the top of the inning to tie the game.
 
Nick Tomich singled and scored a run for the Eagles.
 
Hoosac hosts Mount Greylock on Wednesday.
