Von Ruden, DeGrenier Lead Eagles Past Drury

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Nathaniel Von Ruden went 3-for-4 with a triple, a double and five RBIs Thursday to lead the Mount Everett baseball team to a 14-2 win over Drury at Joe Wolfe Field.
 
Hunter DeGrenier went the distance on the mound for the Eagles, striking out eight and walking three while scattering four hits and allowing no earned runs.
 
Mount Everett broke the game open with a 10-run second inning to take a 13-2 lead.
 
Grant Chase went 2-for-3 with a double, and Ben Shannon doubled in an 11-hit Mount Everett attack.
 
Steven Cornell went 2-for-3, and Noah Miller drove in both runs for Drury.
 
The Blue Devils (4-7) host Lee on Saturday at 1 p.m.
 
Mount Everett (7-3) hosts Monument Mountain on Sunday.
