Taconic Baseball Earns First Win

AGAWAM, Mass. – Evan Roccabruna struck out four Friday in a complete-game, five-inning effort on the mound as the Taconic baseball team beat Agawam, 10-0, for the Thunder’s first win of the spring.

 

Roccabruna also doubled and drove in a run in a six-hit Taconic attack.

 

Ethan O’Donnell also finished with a double and an RBI, and Cam Reynolds went 1-for-2 with three RBIs. Gavin Maffucio was 1-for-2 with a double and two runs scored.

 

Taconic (1-3) tries to make it two wins in 24 hours on Saturday when it hosts Monument Mountain at 1 p.m.
