Lazits Pounds Two Grand Slams in Taconic Win

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- The only thing more dangerous than Anton Lazits on the mound on Thursday was Anton Lazits at the plate.
 
Lazits went 4-for-4 with grand slams and a double to lead Taconic to a 20-1 win over Monument Mountain.
 
Lazits hit both his homers in a 14-run third inning. HIs first was an inside-the-park homer to right field. He then followed with a shot over the center field fence to give him eight RBIs in the inning.
 
On the bump, Lazits struck out 10 in the complete-game, five-inning win.
 
Evan Blake also homered and drove in three runs. Matt Lee was 2-for-2 and scored three times.
 
The Spartans got two hits from Jayder Raifstanger. Arthur Labrie and Peter Free each had a hit.
 
Monument Mountain (4-4) goes to Drury on Tuesday.
 
Taconic (9-0) is at Wahconah on Tuesday.
