Blake's Blasts Lift Thunder

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Evan Blake hit two home runs Saturday to lead the Taconic baseball team to a 12-5 win over Northampton.
 
Blake went 3-for-5 and drove in five runs for the Thunder, who took a 4-1 lead in the first inning and never looked back.
 
Bo Bramer and Matt Lee each had a pair of hits, and Bramer homered, stole four bases and scored four runs in the leadoff spot.
 
Damon Pause earned the win on the mound, allowing four runs but just one earned run in five innings of work.
 
Pause and Kaden Codey combined to strike out 12.
 
Taconic (15-1) hosts Pittsfield on Monday before finishing the regular season at home against Westfield on Tuesday.
