Schneider, Sinopoli Lead Wahconah to Win over Southwick

DALTON, Mass. -- Matt Schneider hit a seventh-inning home run to center field to drive in Andrew Beaudoin and give the Wahconah baseball team a 12-10 win over Southwick on Wednesday. 
 
Shane Sinopoli went 3-for-5 with a double and two RBIs, and Will Genaway doubled in a pair for Wahconah (5-4).
 
After Southwick scored two in the top of the seventh to erase a 10-8 Wahconah lead, Beaudoin led off the home half with a line drive double to center. Schneider followed with the homer to make a winner of reliever Gage Frazier.
 
Genaway started on the mound and lasted four innings, striking out four. Ben Schmidt pitched the fifth before Frazier took over in the sixth.
 
He allowed three earned runs while striking out four.
 
Wahconah travels to Clapp Park to face Pittsfield on Thursday.
