Arace, Bramer Lead Taconic Baseball Past Wahconah

COOPERSTOWN, N.Y. -- Leo Arace went 3-for-5 with a double and drove in four runs Tuesday to lead the Taconic baseball team to a 15-6 win over Wahconah on Doubleday Field.
 
Bo Bramer was 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and three RBIs, and Jake Risley and Brendan Stannard each had a pair of hits.
 
Christian Womble struck out 10 in six innings of work on the mound. Michael Zwinglestein and Sam Sherman split the seventh inning.
 
Austin Roughley homered and went 2-for-3, and Luke Hescock doubled and drove in a run for Wahconah.
 
Wahconah (8-7) hosts Drury on Friday.
 
Taconic (13-3) hosts Hoosac Valley on Thursday.
