Wahconah Baseball Team Falls at Southwick-Tolland

SOUTHWICK, Mass. – The Southwick-Tolland baseball team Thursday ended Wahconah’s regular season with a 7-4 road loss.
 
Scott Duma went 2-for-2 with a triple and discord twice for Wahconah, which also got a pair of hits from Matt Kinzer.
 
Charlie Wendell and Ethan Orsini split time on the mound in the loss.
 
Wahconah (8-12) was on the bubble for a spot in the state Division 4 tournament in the power rankings that came out on Thursday morning. They were ranked 30th in the state pending any outstanding scores from late-reporting teams plus their own regular season finale.
 
The top 32 teams in the final rankings plus all schools ranked lower than 32nd with records of .500 or better make the state tournament.
