Rabuse Leads Wahconah on Mound, at Plate

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – James Rabuse struck out 13 in a complete game on the hill and helped his cause with a 3-for-4 day at the plate Saturday as Wahconah beat Drury, 11-3, at Joe Wolfe Field.
 
Rabuse, who earned a save in Wahconah’s Friday afternoon win, came back to throw 99 pitches on Saturday, allowing just three hits and two earned runs.
 
On offense, he had a triple, a double and drove in four to power Wahconah to its second straight win.
 
Charlie Wendell went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI, and Matt Kinzer was 3-for-4 with a pair of RBIs in a 13-hit Wahconah attack.
 
Nick Lescarbeau went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles and scored twice for Drury, which got RBIs from Nick Sacco and Connor Hinkell.
 
Four Drury pitchers split time on the hill. Brayden Canales pitched five innings.
 
The Blue Devils (5-1) look to get back in the win column on Monday when they host Hampshire Regional.
 
Wahconah (4-3) hosts Lenox on Monday.
