Bayliss, Mounties Win Opener at Granby

GRANBY, Mass. – Jameson Bayliss struck out nine and scattered five hits in an 11-0, five-inning, complete-game win for Mount Greylock in the Mounties’ season opener on Monday.
 
Cole Wetherell and Tommy Art each went 2-for-3 with a double to lead Mount Greylock’s offense, which jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the first inning.
 
Everett Bayliss and Jake Newberry each had a hit, and Jameson Bayliss helped his cause by walking three times and scoring a run.
 
Mount Greylock (1-0) is scheduled to go to Greenfield on Thursday.
