Athol Baseball Edges Mount Greylock

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Logan Cormier went 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles Friday to lead the Athol baseball team to a 9-8 win over Mount Greylock.
 
Cormier also threw two innings of one-run relief to earn the win on the mound.
 
Mount Greylock got a double and a single from Mason Canata. Eli Kristensen went 2-for-3, and Jameson Bayliss drove in a pair of runs.
 
Tommy Art threw 6 and two-thirds innings of relief on the mound, striking out 10 and allowing just two earned runs but was tagged with the loss after Athol scored in the top of the seventh to break an 8-8 tie.
 
Mount Greylock finishes the regular season 7-13.
