PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Anton Lazits struck out 10 in a complete-game shutout as the Taconic baseball team defeated Mount Greylock, 1-0, on Friday afternoon.

Dylan Burke hit a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the fourth for the game’s only run as Taconic (14-1) won its fourth straight game.

Brendan Stannard started the winning rally with a leadoff walk, and Leo Arace followed with a walk. Bo Bramer’s groundout moved both runners into scoring position for Burke, who came to the plate with one out.

His fly ball to center field was deep enough to get Stannard home, and that was all the run support Lazits needed.

He scattered four hits and three walks on the way to the win.

Dom Paris went 1-for-2 with a walk, and Evan Sheridan drew a pair of free passes for Mount Greylock.

Sheridan was the hard-luck loser on the mound, allowing just three hits against the defending Western Mass Division 3 champs.

Mount Greylock (7-8) hosts Mount Everett on Saturday.

Taconic hosts Westfield on Tuesday.
