Mount Greylock Baseball Qualifies for Western Mass Tournament

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Joe Jones went the distance on the hill, allowing one earned run on Saturday as the Mount Greylock baseball team topped Drury, 11-2, to qualify for the Western Massachusetts tournament.
 
Jones scattered seven hits and struck out two in the win.
 
Mount Greylock stole 11 bases, led by Oscar Low, who swiped three.
 
Paul Roeder and Derek Paris each hit a double, and Dom Paris and Roeder each drove in three runs.
 
Roeder was 2-for-3 in a 12-hit Mount Greylock attack.
 
Payton Barnes went 2-for-3 and scored a run for the Blue Devils.
 
Drury (1-17) hosts Hoosac Valley on Monday. 
 
Mount Greylock (10-9) finishes the regular seaosn hosts Chicopee Comp on Sunday.
