LENOX, Mass. -- Jack Cangelosi drove home a pair of runs in a four-run seventh inning as the Mount Greylock baseball team Tuesday earned a 6-3 win over Lenox.

Derek Paris started the pivotal rally with a leadoff single. He ended up scoring from third on Landen Jamula’s fielder’s choice to make it 3-2.

Jack Gitterman singled and Josh Polumbo walked before Cangelosi singled to right to drive in Jamula and Gitterman.

Polumbo scored one batter later when Oscar Low doubled to left to make it 6-2.

Nate Armstrong drove in a run for Lenox in the bottom of the seventh, but Paris closed the door, getting a groundout with two men on base for the third out of the inning.

“We pulled out a tight one late,” Mount Greylock coach Rick Paris said. “We were flat most of the game. We stranded too many runners once again. But when it counted, the guys came through.”

Brendan Armstrong and Luke Traversa each had a pair of hits for the Millionaires, who got seven strikeouts in four innings of work from starter Luke Patella.

Paris earned the win with four innings of two-run relief for the Mounties.

Low finished the day 3-for-4 with two doubles. Cangelosi went 2-for-2 with three runs batted in.

Mount Greylock (8-2) goes to Taconic on Thursday.

Lenox is at Lee on Friday.
