Monument Mountain Baseball Rolls over East Longmeadow

EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass. – Jack Bissaillon went 3-for-4 with a triple and six RBIs Wednesday to lead the Monument Mountain baseball team to a 19-1 win over East Longmeadow in the Western Massachusetts Class B Quarter-Finals.

 

Gus Luf was 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs in a 14-hit attack for the Spartans.

 

Luf also earned the win on the mound with three innings of work in the five-inning win. He struck out three and walked one before Bissaillon finished things up.

 

Fifth-seeded Monument Mountain (13-6) advances to play Pittsfield, a 2-1 winner over Hampshire Regional on Wednesday.
