Hopkins Academy Baseball Team Tops Monument Mountain

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- Jeremiah Scanlon-Dean went 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs Sunday to lead the Hopkins Academy baseball team to a 13-3 win over Monument Mountain.

 

Dom Calautti led the Spartans offensively, going 3-for-3. He stole three bases and scored twice.

 

Kyle McMahon went 2-for-2 and drove in a pair of runs.

 

Mason Bailey and Caeden Thayer split time on the mound for the Spartans, allowing six earned runs in the five-inning loss.

 

Monument Mountain (2-11) hosts Wahconah on Wednesday.
