Tyler Wade Pitches Spartans Past Mount Everett

SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- Michael Goretti drove in a pair of runs in a three-run second inning, and Tyler Wade scattered five hits to earn a 3-2 win for the Monument Mountain baseball team on Thursday.
 
Wade struck out eight and walked two in the complete-game win.
 
Graham Herrick and Kade Grober each went 2-for-4 for the Spartans.
 
Patrick Silk and Kolby Bleau each went 1-for-2 with an RBI for Mount Everett (6-4), which goes to Hoosac Valley on Monday.
 
Monument Mountain (11-2) hosts Lenox on Friday.
