Easthampton Baseball Rallies Late to Knock Off Monument Mountain

EASTHAMPTON, Mass. -- The Easthampton baseball team rallied for three runs in the bottom of the sixth to earn a 3-2 win over Monument Mountain in the quarter-finals of the Western Massachusetts Division 3 tournament on Wednesday.
 
Jayder Raifstanger went 3-for-4 and drove in a run in Monument’s two-run fourth inning. Camden Raifstanger also had an RBI in a seven-hit Spartan attack.
 
Arthur Labrie went the distance on the mound for Monument Mountain, striking out eight and walking just one.
 
The 12th-seeded Spartans finish their season with a record of 7-9.
