Duquette Leads Pittsfield Past Chicopee Comp

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Jake Duquette went 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles and two RBIs Monday to lead the Pittsfield baseball team to a 5-2 win over Chicopee Comprehensive.
 
Cam Harrington earned the win on the mound, striking out nine and walking three in five innings of work.
 
“Cam Harrington had another quality start and Jake Duquette had three hits to lead us to a win today,” Pittsfield coach Drew Pearce said. “We need to clean up our base running and capitalize with guys on base to put these games away earlier.
 
Morrie Fried and Matt Burega combined on two innings of one-run relief.
 
Pittsfield (4-2) goes to Westfield on Tuesday.
