Codey, Generals Down Monument Mountain

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. – Jason Codey went the distance on the mound and doubled with an RBI at the plate Tuesday to lead the Pittsfield baseball team to a 14-2 win over Monument Mountain.
 
Connor Devine came off the bench to hit a home run and drive in a pair in an 11-hit attack for the Generals, who jumped on top with seven runs in the top of the first and never looked back.
 
Codey struck out seven, walked three and allowed one earned run in the win.
 
Jack Bissaillon went 1-for-3 with an RBI for the Spartans (11-5), who host Lenox on Thursday.
 
Pittsfield (13-4) hosts Hopkins Academy on Wednesday.
