Longmeadow Baseball Shuts Out Pittsfield
LONGMEADOW, Mass. – Three Longmeadow pitchers combined on a three-hitter Saturday to lead the Lancers to a 4-0 win over Pittsfield.
Rohan Inamdar did the bulk of the work on the mound for the hosts. He struck out nine, walked three and gave up one hit.
His offense finally got going in the bottom of the sixth, when Longmeadow scored all the game’s runs.
Jackson Almeida, Cam Hillard and Jason Codey each had a hit for the Generals.
Matthew Egan threw five innings of shutout ball, striking out nine, for Pittsfield.
The Generals (3-1) host Putnam Voc on Monday.
