PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Pittsfield High’s Cam Sime struck out 11, walked none and allowed just one hit in a complete-game, five-inning, 17-0 win over Chicopee Comp on Friday.

Sime also helped his cause by drawing three walks, driving in three runs and scoring three times as the Generals moved three games over .500 at 5-2 this spring.

Tommy Mullin went 2-for-2 with a pair of RBIs, and Jake Duquette was 2-for-3 with an RBI in a 12-hit Pittsfield offensive attack.

Nick Brindle tripled, and Charlie Heimann and Morrie Fried each doubled for Pittsfield, which put the game away with a nine-run third inning to take a 15-0 lead.

Pittsfield takes a four-game winning streak into Tuesday’s home game against Pope Francis.
