Hinkell Pitches Blue Devils Past Lenox

LENOX, Mass. – Connor Hinkell struck out 10, walked none and allowed no earned runs Monday in a complete game effort to lead the Drury baseball team to a 5-1 win over Lenox.
 
Nick Lescarbeau and Nick Sacco each went 2-for-3 with a double to lead Drury’s offense. Hunter Marceau also doubled and drove in a run in an 11-hit Drury attack.
 
Lenox scratched out a run in the bottom of the first to take a 1-0 lead when Cliff FLynn singled to center field to drive in Zack Nicotra.
 
Drury tied it one inning later on an RBI double by Marceau to drive in Julian Feliciano.
 
And the Blue Devils took control with a three-run fourth inning.
 
Max Shepardson went the distance on the mound for the Millionaires, striking out four and walking none.
 
Lenox (10-6) hosts Mount Greylock on Tuesday.
 
Drury (13-3) goes to Wahconah on Tuesday.
