Lenox Baseball Downs Smith Academy

HATFIELD, Mass. – The Lenox baseball team Wednesday used seven singles and 10 walks in a 14-4, five-inning win over Smith Academy.
 
The Millionaires’ efficiency on offense made a winner of Max Shepardson, who struck out five and walked one in three innings of work on the mound.
 
Seamus Cooney finished up for Lenox, striking out four while giving up three unearned runs in two innings.
 
Shepardson helped his cause with a 2-for-3 day at the plate and drove in a pair of runs.
 
Tyler Giardina was 2-for-2 with three RBIs.
 
Lenox (2-0) hosts Wahconah on Saturday.
