Nicotra RBI Lifts Lenox at Mount Greylock

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Nick Nicotra singled with two out in the top of the 10th inning to drive in Cooper Shepardson and give the Lenox baseball team a 2-1 win at Mount Greylock on Wednesday.
 
Shepardson reached on a bunt single and stole second before Nicotra lined a single to left to drive in the game-winning run.
 
Jett Steinman went the distance on the mound, striking out seven and scattering seven hits.
 
Steinman and Rick Armstrong each had two hits, including a double.
 
Derek Paris and Billy Galvin each went 2-for-4 for Mount Greylock, which got nine strong innings from Jack Cangelosi, who struck out 13.
 
The Mounties (7-7) go to Taconic on Friday.
 
Lenox (8-7) hosts Putnam on Thursday.
