Chicopee Comp Tops McCann Tech Boys

CHICOPEE, Mass. -- The McCann Tech boys lacrosse team Thursday dropped a 12-3 decision at Chicopee Comprehensive in the teams' season opener.

 

Parker Hart scored a pair of goals, and Musa Thompson scored once for the Hornets, who got 18 saves from Brody Rhinemiller.

 

"We have a very young team," McCann Tech coach Marshall Maxwell said. "Fifteen out of our 20 players played in their first varsity game tonight. We have great kids who work hard. I look forward to developing this team through the season under strong leadership."

 

McCann Tech (0-1) goes to Northampton on Tuesday.
