Eugene's Six Goals Lead Hoosac Boys at Pittsfield

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- The Hoosac Valley boys lacrosse team outscored Pittsfield, 7-1, in the second and third quarters en route to a 10-4 win on Thursday.
 
Vance Eugene scored six goals and assisted on two more to lead the Hurricanes, who got a pair of goals apiece from Nick Waterman and Casey Meczywor.
 
Cam Alibozek made six stops between the pipes to earn the win.
 
Ethan Beach stopped 14 shots for the Generals, who got two goals and an assist from Markie Perras.
 
Pittsfield (2-6) hosts Mount Greylock on Monday.
 
Hoosac Valley (2-3) hosts Lee on Monday.
