Waterman OT Game-Winner Keeps Canes Unbeaten

CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Carson Meczywor set up Luke Waterman in overtime Thursday to give the undefeated Hoosac Valley boys lacrosse team a 13-12 win over South Hadley.
 
Meczywor led the offense with five goals, and Waterman and Aaron Bush each scored a pair.
 
Cam Taylor had three assists to go with his one goal.
 
"Meczywor was sensational in the win," Hoosac Valley coach Jake Hall said. "The Taylor brothers [Cam and Owen] were a key part in offensive success.
 
"Blake Trumble commanded defense. And Lukie waterman was clutch with fourth quarter and OT goals."
 
Hoosac Valley (14-0) hosts Lenox on Monday.
