DALTON, Mass. -- Connor Washburn scored four goals, and Dart Jaggi had a hat trick to lead the Wahconah boys lacrosse team to an 11-2 win over Hoosac Valley on Senior Night on Monday.

“It was a great night,” Wahconah coach Zachary Sondrini said. “It was nice to get a win under the lights for our seniors on senior night in front of our youth on youth night. Hoosac was down four starters, but they kept fighting the whole game.”

Matt Hall and Austin Mendel scored for the Hurricanes, who got 12 saves from Cam Alibozek.

Wahconah’s Vinny Orlandi stopped six shots to earn the win.

“Our seniors James Ross and Dalton Peck had an amazing game at close defense,” Sondrini said. “It was nice to get the one back that we lost earlier in the year. Vinny Orlandi had some huge saves that could've made the game a lot closer.

“With the win we've made the Western Mass tournament. That is always our goal every year. Next on the list is getting our first tournament win in program history.”

Wahconah (10-6) goes to Chicopee Comp on Wednesday.

Hoosac Valley (6-6) hosts Monument Mountain on Tuesday.
