Wahconah Boys Lacrosse Earns Big Road Win against Nipmuc

WILBRAHAM, Mass.-- Ernie Lampron scored seven goals Tuesday to lead the Wahconah boys lacrosse team to a 16-11 win over Nipmuc in a game played at Minnechaug High School.
 
William O'Neill scored four times and set up two more, and Caden Padelford had five assists as Wahconah improved to 3-0 this spring with a statement win against a Central Mass power.
 
Jonah Smith scored twice and had two assists, and Kevin Lampron and Rylan Padelford each found the back of the net.
 
Joe Massaro stopped 10 shots in Wahconah's goal to earn the win.
 
Nipmuc was a Central/Western Massachusetts finalist in Division 3 in 2017 and 2018. Wahconah is looking to improve on its 2019 finish, a one-goal loss in the D3 quarter-finals.
 
Wahconah is scheduled to host Mount Greylock on Thursday evening.
