Pittsfield Boys Lacrosse Rolls over Central to Go to 4-1

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Mitchel Manning scored six goals Thursday to lead the Pittsfield boys lacrosse team in a 16-1 win over Springfield Central.
 
Ray Lynch and Justin Borawski each had a hat trick, and Javon Jones finished with two goals and two assists.
 
Hunter Christman backstopped the Generals to victory, stopping nine shots.
 
“Jackson Jezewski played a great game at the face-off X, allowing us to gain possession of the ball after almost every stoppage,” Pittsfield coach J. Noah Tullock said. “Justin Borawski had a solid day winning ground balls from the face-off wing, and also scored a hat trick.”
 
Pittsfield (4-1) hosts Monson on Monday.
