WESTHAMPTON, Mass. – Emma Meczywor scored four goals and set up two more on Thursday to lead the Hoosac Valley girls lacrosse team to an 11-9 win over Hampshire Regional.

Jacinta Felix had a hat trick for Hoosac as it got back in the win column after Tuesday’s loss to Lee.

“It was great to see how we bounced back after a tough loss on Tuesday,” Hoosac Valley coach Molly West said. “Our draws/circle game was much better and we moved the ball really well offensively. We were able to maintain possession for the last eight minutes to secure the win. Kennedy Whitley had another stellar game in goal.”

Whitley made six stops to earn the win.

Ashlyn Lesure finished with two goals and two assists, and Lauren Davis had a goal and four assists.

Hoosac Valley (9-3) hosts Hampshire on Tuesday.
