Hoosac Valley Meets Team Goals in Road Win

LEE, Mass. – Emma Meczywor, Jacinta Felix and Reagan Shea each scored four goals Thursday to lead the Hoosac Valley girls lacrosse team to a 19-3 win over Lee.

 

Maryn Cappiello and Ashlyn Lesure each had a hat trick, and Kennedy Whitley and Cami Lovato combined to make six saves in Hoosac Valley’s goal.

 

“Our energy was great today - on the field and on the sidelines - and it made a difference,” Hoosac Valley coach Molly West said. “We were able to apply a few things from yesterday's practice during today's game and it improved our overall play and speed in transition; and we were able to meet several team goals.”

 

Ashley Sonsini scored a goal for Lee, which got eight saves from Reese Duschesne.

 

The Wildcats (0-7) go to Southwick on Friday.

 

Hoosac Valley (9-2) hosts Granby on Tuesday.
