Top-Seeded Cohasset Girls Top Hoosac Valley

COHASSET, Mass. – Aine Norton and Emily Regan each had a hat trick Sunday to lead the top-seeded Cohasset girls lacrosse team to a 20-3 win over Hoosac Valley.

 

Hurricanes’ seniors Emma Meczywor, Jacinta Felix and Ashlyn Lesure each factored into the scoring in the final game of their careers.

 

Meczywor had a goal and two assists. Felix scored once, and Lesure had a goal and an assist.

 

The Hurricanes (14-4) got a combined 16 saves from Kennedy Whitley and Cami Lovato.

 

“Overall, this was an amazing season,” Hoosac Valley coach Molly West said. “I am beyond proud of all we've accomplished this year and kudos to our seniors who have been instrumental in the growth of the program. They will be hard to replace.”
