Big Second Half Lifts Wahconah Girls Lax at Pittsfield

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Jordan Budaj scored five goals, and the Wahconah girls lacrosse team outscored Pittsfield, 8-2, in the second half, to earn a 14-7 win on Thursday.

 

Emmy Cote, Jordan Peck and McKenna McIlquham scored two goals apiece, and Katie Bachli made 11 saves to earn the win between the pipes.

 

Jenna Bateman and Emily Kestyn each scored a pair for Pittsfield, which got 15 saves from Anna Quinto.

 

The Generals (0-11) hosts Granby on Saturday morning.

 

Wahconah (10-2) goes to Bennington, Vt., to play Mount Anthony on Friday.
