Another Milestone and Another Win for Wahconah Girls
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Brooke Harrington recorded nine points, including the 100th of her career, to lead the Wahconah girls lacrosse team in a 15-4 win over Pope Francis on Tuesday.
Harrington finished with five goals and four assists in the win.
She became the second Wahconah sophomore this season to reach the 100-point plateau. Mia Thomas reached the milestone in the season opener.
“The team played as a unit, and everyone made positive contributions in one way or another,” Wahconah coach Kathy Budaj said. “Anna Doyle did a great job in the midfield creating many turnovers. Mya [Lee] did a very nice job in goal.”
Lee made six saves to earn the win between the pipes.
Danielle Hagmaier had four goals and three assists, and Doyle and Chloe DiFazio each had a hat trick in the win.
Wahconah (3-0) hosts Hampshire on Friday.
