Monson Girls Lacrosse Edges Pittsfield

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Nevaeh Chiacchia scored five goals Thursday to lead the Monson girls lacrosse team to an 8-6 win over Pittsfield.

 

Lilyana Ferris scored four goals, and Ella Kroboth added a pair for the Generals.

 

"It was a hard fought battle, and we played some amazing defense today," PIttsfield coach Kim Madden said.

 

Laniyah Gregory made four shots in Pittsfield’s goal.

 

Pittsfield (1-9) is at Brattleboro, Vt., on Saturday.
