Joyce Leads Lee to Bounceback Win at Monson

MONSON, Mass. – Kylie Joyce went 3-for-4 with a triple and a double Wednesday as the Lee softball team beat Monson, 8-0, to bounce back from Tuesday’s loss in the Western Mass quarter-finals and finish the regular season on a high note.
 
Karalynn Hopkins went 3-for-4 with a double and drove in a pair of runs, and Kamryn Renata and Bri Lynch each had two hits in a 14-hit Wildcat attack.
 
Lynch threw five innings in the circle, striking out six and not allowing an earned run. Taryn Bannon threw the first two innings.
 
Lee (14-6) awaits its first-round opponent in next week’s state tournament.
