TURNERS FALLS, Mass. – Kaitlin Trudeau homered, and Franklin Tech jumped on top early to earn a 20-2 win over Drury in the semi-finals of the Western Massachusetts Class C Tournament.

The second-seeded Eagles scored seven runs in the first inning en route to a five-inning win and a date with either top-seeded Greenfield or McCann Tech, who play on Friday in Greenfield.

Brooke Bishop singled with one out and scored on Olivia Perry’s RBI single in the top of the fourth. Perry then came home on a double by Marley Brothers.

Perry struck out three in the circle for Drury (12-6), which waits to hear who it will play in the first round of next week’s State Tournament.
