Hoosac Valley Rolls Past Blue Devils

ADAMS, Mass. – Izabela Tart went 3-for-3 with a pair of home runs Thursday to lead the Hoosac Valley softball team to a 14-0 win over Drury.

 

With the win, Hoosac Valley qualified for the Division 5 State Tournament.

 

Tart drove in four runs and scored three times for the Hurricanes, who pounded out 12 hits in the five-inning win.

 

Hannah Lord was 2-for-3 with a double, and Gianna Witek and Harper Bialas each had a pair of hits.

 

Gracelyn Wright struck out five and allowed one hit in a complete-game effort in the circle.

 

Sloan Brothers doubled for Drury (3-7), which hosts Monument Mountain on Saturday morning.

 

Hoosac Valley (9-0) hosts Lee on Monday.
