Derwitsch Leads Mount Everett Softball Past Lenox

LENOX, Mass. -- Jaclyn Derwitsch went 3-for-4, and Faith Angell pitched a two-hitter as the Mount Everett softball team Friday defeated Lenox, 9-0, in the regular season finale for both teams.
 
Devon Galli went 3-for-5, and Madison Ullrich and Sarah Beckwith each had a pair of hits. Angell doubled and drove in a run to help her cause.
 
In the circle, she struck out four and walked none.
 
Claire Lynch and Maddie Barenski each had a hit for Lenox (8-12).
 
Mount Everett (12-6) learns Tuesday when and where it will begin play in the Western Mass tournament.
