NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Olivia Perry struck out 14, and Brooke Bishop hit her third home run of the season Tuesday as the Drury softball team stayed unbeaten with a 6-4 win over Mount Everett.

Perry helped her cause by going 2-for-3 with a triple and an RBI at the plate.

In the circle, she allowed three earned runs in a complete-game effort.

Bishop got Drury’s offense started with a two-run homer in the bottom of the first. The Blue Devils led. 6-1, after five innings before Mount Everett mounted a comeback.

Emma Goewey keyed that rally with a two-run home run in the top of the seventh. Aliyah Creamer then followed with a one-out single.

But Perry got the next two batters on a fly ball and a groundout to end the game.

Julia Devoti went 2-for-4 with a triple in a four-hit attack for the Eagles. She also went the distance in the circle, striking out five.

Mount Everett (4-1) comes back to North Adams on Wednesday to face McCann Tech.

Drury (8-0) goes to Ware on Thursday.
